Title: AVP, Claims - High Personal Net-Worth
Location: Remote, USA
Responsibilities:
- Abide by and help develop claims best practices
- Create key relationships and build existing relationships within the market
- Perform appropriate and proactive claims handling activities in all phases of adjustments
- Work with brokers and TPA/Vendors (if needed) on adjustments
- Keep track of claim development, provide direction and find trends by using diaries
- Work with leadership on individual exposures, while researching competitor information, market intelligence
- Solid understanding of trends within the industry and legal environment
- Work with the underwriting team to analyze and give input on policy language
- Become the "face of claims" to brokers, policyholders, carriers and reinsurers
Qualifications:
- Adjuster license in relevant states
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- At least 5+ years working on property claims
- Inland Marine claims experience preferred
- Track record of strong business development, must have a network of industry contacts
- Extensive coverage/contract knowledge
- Proficient in coverage application, litigation, and contractual relationships
- CPCU, SCLA, AIC, etc. are preferred
- Fine art and collectibles experience preferred
