I am currently working with a consulting firm that is looking to hire a Senior Associate to help financial institutions optimize credit processes, manage risks, and enhance profitability. This role involves advising on credit risk strategies, governance, and model development, while implementing solutions that align with regulatory requirements such as CECL. You'll also work closely with clients to streamline workflows and improve credit decision-making in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on credit process redesign, risk model development (PD, LGD, EAD), and CECL methodologies.
- Conduct underwriting, credit analysis, and risk assessments.
- Leverage analytics tools to design risk reporting and enhance decision-making.
- Manage cross-functional teams, deliver client presentations, and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in credit risk management or financial services.
- Expertise in credit risk workflows and tools (e.g., Moody's, nCino).
- Familiarity with CECL, IFRS 9, and credit risk regulatory guidance.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with commercial and retail lending products.
- Strong presentation and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and analytics platforms.
