A leading global insurance company is looking to add a Director Actuarial, P&C- Reserving to their growing workers compensation actuarial team. This candidate will be responsible for reserving department while leading a team of direct reports. The candidate will gain exposure working alongside the workers compensation underwriting and data science teams. Responsibilities of Director Actuarial, P&C - Reserving
-Liaise with Senior Management on a daily basis
-Utilize stochastic calculus to measure strategy constraints
-Develop reserving models for workers compensation insurance products
-Liaise with the underwriting team on market implementation strategies for new products
Requirements of Director Actuarial, P&C - Reserving
-ACAS or FCAS designation attained
-Previous experience or knowledge of commercial lines or workers compensation products
-Minimum Bachelors Degree in a actuarial science or quantitative discipline
-Must have strong communication skills
-Prior management experience preferred
