Position Overview
The client is seeking a client service and operations professional to manage relationships and processes designed to support the global business development efforts offering the firm's semi-liquid, open-ended private market funds. The selected candidate will interact and collaborate with various internal departments including business development, due diligence, fund accounting, fund operations, operational due diligence, legal and compliance. The individual will communicate frequently with our global business development team, executive leaders of the firm, prospects, clients, third-party administrators / transfer agents, legal firms, translation services, clearing and custody firms, distribution platforms and other third-party vendors.
The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a proven track record in managing competing priorities. The person should have a solid understanding of private market investments with knowledge of handling the operational on-board of private wealth institutions and high net worth clients.
To excel in this role, the candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment managing numerous concurrent workstreams.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage third party vendor relationships and develop key performance indicators (KPI) to track performance against expected services.
- Develop regular communication with the relevant internal and external parties to manage the day-to-day operations and ensure the client on-boarding process is moving quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
- Identify, on-board, and manage distribution, clearing/custody and/or technology platforms to enhance the client on-boarding experience.
- Coordinate new or volume-based jurisdictions with legal for marketing/investments.
- Develop and implement processes for new initiatives and technologies including new and existing reporting requirements of distribution platforms, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and track solicitation and jurisdictional-based investments to ensure alignment with regulatory compliance.
- Design, implement, and continuously review operational processes for the non-US business to ensure they are scalable, efficient and provide for a seamless, positive client on-boarding experience.
- Develop and track internal KPIs, metrics, and checks to track business growth, identify resource constraints, limit errors, and report the most relevant results to senior management to enhance the decision-making process.
- Build a strong relationship with the firm's AIFM by providing transparent communication around distribution efforts and working alongside the team to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare distribution and investor updates for inclusion in non-US board resolutions and/or materials as needed.
- Supervise the creation of pitch books and investment proposals for large platforms, private banks, family offices or other prospects.
- Collaborate with various teams to create reporting materials, guides, and other resources to support efficient business operations.
- Supervise the due diligence phase of global prospects ensuring the relevant teams are doing their part in a timely, efficient manner.
- Proofread marketing materials and support collaboration across teams.
- Assist and lead various projects and analyses for the private wealth and business development teams.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Strong experience with working with third party providers, e.g. AllFunds, Clearstream etc...
- Experience with Luxembourg domiciled funds.
