I am partnered with a global Energy Development & Trading Company that is looking to bring on a Senior Originator to structure long term deals , PPA's and help provide commercial / trading opportunity to the team. This person would be the Director of Natural Gas Origination.
This position is located in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Create valuable transaction opportunities for the business by generating new customer acquisitions
- Knowledge of Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream value chains
- Negotiate various contractual agreements inclusive of PPA's and structured trades
- Represent the business at conferences, client events and presentations
- Succeed in a team based environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics or similar discipline (or equivalent through experience) is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in North American markets
- Excellent commercial skills
- Proven ability to develop and expand valuable relationships with energy clients
- Strong knowledge of structured gas products
- Talent for deal structuring and managing a deal process
