Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising efforts for both fund structures and direct investment opportunities, with a focus on institutional investors across EMEA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and other key allocators.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve capital-raising targets and expand the investor base.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment professionals and marketing, to ensure effective communication of the firm's value proposition and investment strategies.
- Manage the entire fundraising lifecycle, from initial contact through to due diligence, negotiation, and close.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional sales within the investment management industry.
- Proven track record of raising capital from institutional investors, ideally for funds and direct investments in renewable infrastructure, private equity, or private credit.
- Strong existing relationships with institutional investors across the EMEA region.
- Experience working at a placement agent is highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of the investment landscape, particularly within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to drive fundraising success and meet ambitious targets.
