Role Overview:
As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in the execution of M&A transactions and advisory projects. Working closely with senior team members, you will be involved in every aspect of the deal process, from initial client engagement to deal closure. Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Execution: Support senior team members in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, prepare presentations, and contribute to the development of client relationships.
- Market Research: Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential transaction targets.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to support transaction analysis and decision-making.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation, including information memoranda, pitch books, and marketing materials.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or CFA qualification is advantageous.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: High level of attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small team.
