Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to join our client's investment banking team. This role is pivotal in driving the firm's growth through strategic M&A advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating $2 million or more in fees annually, with a robust book of business and strong client relationships. This MD will also generate revenue through the firm's existing relationships which generate many deal opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage M&A advisory transactions from origination to completion.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and tailored financial solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A advisory.
Proven track record of generating $2 million or more in fees annually.
Extensive network and a robust book of business.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
