Our Investment Management team is currently partnering with a prestigious Global Private Equity Real Estate Investment Firm to identify a talented Investment Analyst for their Investment department based in Japan.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping strategic investment decisions and driving the growth of a diverse and dynamic property portfolio in one of the most exciting markets in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement investment and divestment strategies, including asset and company acquisitions.
- Execute divestment deals and negotiate transaction closures.
- Build relationships and support the origination of new investments to expand the real estate portfolio.
- Manage end-to-end investment and divestment processes, from deal origination, research, and financial analysis, to structuring, negotiation, and execution.
- Conduct in-depth market, industry, competitor, and financial analysis to guide decision-making.
- Lead commercial and financial due diligence efforts.
- Prepare and present investment committee papers and management reports for board review.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide updates to the investment committee.
- Oversee redevelopment initiatives for existing assets to maximize revenue potential.
- Lead the annual valuation process for the firm's portfolio.
Requirements:
- Fluent Japanese language skills: Candidates must have native-level or near-native proficiency in Japanese, with a strong ability to communicate effectively in professional contexts.
- Minimum 10 years of experience living in Japan and deep cultural understanding.
- Fluency in English is a plus but not essential; candidates should have enough proficiency to communicate with Singapore-based teams and management.
- Proven experience in investment analysis, transaction management, and financial modeling, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
