A global firm with offices across the US, LATAM, EMEA and APAC they have over $10bn AUM, and investment performance for over 20 years.
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Macro Equity L/S Portfolio Manager to join their New York office. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Macro Equity markets, a proven track record in managing L/S Equity portfolios, and the ability to generate alpha through innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long/short equity strategies driven by macroeconomic insights.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of global economic indicators and equity markets.
- Monitor and adjust portfolio positions in response to market dynamics.
- Collaborate with research teams to stay abreast of economic trends and market developments.
- Communicate investment strategies and performance to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with a focus on equity markets and long/short strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of fixed income markets.
- Proven track record of generating alpha and managing risk.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
