Description:
My client is looking for a Model Risk Audit Director to lead the planning, execution and oversight of their risk-based assurance and advisory audit plan, while analyzing issues, establishing collaborative client relationships, and working with client management to assess risk and improve internal controls.
The ideal candidate will leverage 8+ years of audit, financial, insurance, banking, and/or leadership experience to perform internal audits, external audits, or applying audit, risk, in a complex operational and regulatory environment. Experience designing and leading comprehensive audits of actuarial models, ensuring compliance with SR 11-7, ASOP 56, and other regulatory frameworks is essential.
Requirements:
8 years of model risk audit, or related business experience
3 years of direct team lead or management experience
Experience performing internal audits, external audits, or applying audit, risk, or compliance acumen
Knowledge of actuarial models, such as Property and Casualty (P&C), ensuring compliance with SR 11-7, ASOP 56, and other regulatory frameworks.
