Position: Power Trader

Key Responsibilities
- Execute power trades in the Dutch market, including last-minute trades before physical delivery.
- Collaborate on the development and refinement of trading models using Python and VBA.
- Work with analysts to continuously improve trading strategies and models.
- Gain a deep understanding of gas and power commodities markets.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills for swift decision-making in trading environments.
- Proficiency in VBA and Python, with a strong aptitude for IT tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Knowledge or experience in the gas market is highly valued.
- Experience in derivative markets is highly appreciated.
- Flexibility in work hours and days due to market demands.
