A rapidly growing digital asset trading firm is looking to hire a Rust Engineer to their highly skilled Engineering team. The firm has two main lines of business that this role will support;
1) Proprietary trading focused on liquidity provisioning and quantitative trading
2) Liquidity provider for token launches
The firm builds scalable infrastructure projects on Solana with a focus on DeFi applications. They are still in the "start-up" phase, but they now have a strong track record of success and have significant momentum. They are growing across the business on a national level, and they offer a full time remote working model in an effort to secure the best talent in the space, regardless of the location candidates are working in!
This position will be a key hire for the business, and will contribute to building open-source codebase and to set the stage for more secure, usable, and comprehensive financial products in the Solana ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy robust smart contracts that manage billions of dollars of transactions (rust)
- Work closely with the quants team to model highly complex risk exposures
- Implement testing processes to ensure system stability
- Support the development of trading algorithms and propose innovation recommendations for their current system
- Optimize components for performance, reliability, security and scalability
Qualifications:
- Strong development skills in Rust. They are also open to seeing candidates who are stronger with C++, but having some professional work experience in Rust is necessary.
- Experience with smart contract development, distributed computing, or system design
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Passion for Defi and cryptocurrencies
- Ability to work in the United States
