Job Description: Legal Counsel (m/f/d)
Introduction: Join an international group as they establish their legal footprint in Germany. This remote role within Germany offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team located around the world, covering the group entities in Germany and bridging with HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all business operations and contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations in Germany and/or the US.
- GDPR Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and business operations.
- Advisory Services: Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on various commercial and contractual matters.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve any disputes arising from commercial contracts, including liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (both state exams) or qualified in another jurisdiction with substantial experience working in Germany.
- 5-7 years of work experience in commercial law and contract management.
- Fluent command of both English and German.
- Experience working or studying in an Anglo speaking country is a plus.
- Experience in the Health Tech industry is a plus.
