Our client, a prominent player in the financial services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join their Corporate and Institutional Banking team. This role is ideal for a financial professional with a passion for fostering relationships and driving growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing corporate relationships across Germany, Switzerland and Austria(DACH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the origination and client relationship management for a portfolio of International Corporate (IC) Clients
- Maintaining an end-to-end understanding of the client group structure and needs, steering and enhancing the relationship through Account Planning
- Focusing on a range of corporate banking products and services; maintaining a strong working relationship with Credit, Legal and Compliance and other key stakeholders
- Overseeing and coaching Assistant Relationship Managers; working closely with product partners and Industry leaders
- Acting as a trusted advisor to client C-level stakeholders
- Engaging with product partners within the region and globally to ensure depth of client coverage and selling the banks' network
Skills & Attributes Required:
- Business fluency in German and English is mandatory
- Graduate degree (degree in Banking or Finance preferred)
- Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience with clients in the banking industry
- Deep understanding and knowledge of products (Financial Markets, Transaction Banking, ESG and DCM)
- Risk & AML certified as stipulated by Bank policy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
