Job Description:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our Windows-based infrastructure, ensuring its performance, scalability, and security. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Windows Systems Expertise: Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Windows server environments, ensuring their stability and high availability.
Networking Proficiency: Manage and optimize network infrastructure, including TCP/IP configurations, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
Azure Cloud Integration: Leverage Azure services to develop and implement cloud-based solutions, optimizing scalability, cost-efficiency, and security.
Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline routine tasks and enhance system efficiency.
Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshooting and Support: Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing timely resolutions and maintaining system documentation.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, share your knowledge, and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Windows server environments.
Strong proficiency in networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and firewall configurations.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud automation.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500) and Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE) are a plus.
