Key functions include ensuring the smooth operation of production and development environments, implementing advanced cloud technologies, and collaborating with various stakeholders across the business.
The role entails building highly available solutions, supporting development environments, maintaining site reliability, and automating cloud infrastructure.
It is a remote role, for the firm's office in Lisbon, Portugal. Looking for candidates with the right to work in Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure smooth operation of production and development environments.
* Implement advanced cloud technologies to facilitate platform infrastructure strategy.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business.
* Develop and maintain tools to support development environments.
* Maintain site reliability with a focus on scalability and resilience.
* Secure and automate cloud infrastructure.
* Design and operate Kubernetes environments for container management.
* Troubleshoot and debug distributed systems.
Requirements:
* 6+ years of DevOps, TechOps, or SRE experience, with at least 2 years in AWS.
* Strong experience with microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) in production.
* Proficiency in Linux OS and command-line/scripting.
* Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB.
* Experience architecting, implementing, and managing monitoring tools in the cloud.
* Proficient coding skills in Python, Ruby, or Java.
* Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation for compute provisioning.
* Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of building microservice-based architectures
