What you'll be doing…
- Oversee and file state, federal, and local tax returns for a leading life and annuity insurance company
- Assist with completing GAAP and STAT financial reporting, reconciliations, disclosures, and controls
- Manage and help grow a team of staff accountants, with opportunity to mentor other junior staff in the finance and accounting department as well
What you'll need to be successful…
- 10+ years of experience in tax reporting, preferably in the life and annuity insurance industry
- A minimum of 4 years of management experience
- Strong attention to deal and technical skills using excel, SQL, Python, or R
