Selby Jennings has been engaged by a Dallas-based credit investment fund to identify a Vice President for their investment team.
The Vice President will be responsible for reviewing initial investment opportunities, leading investment diligence and execution, and monitoring select portfolio investments. On most deal teams, the VP will work directly with an MD/Principal and will manage the workflows of the Associates and Analysts. The firm originates 15-25 new portfolio investments per year in addition to an equal or greater amount of follow-on investments for the existing portfolio, so ideally this candidate is interested in working on a wide range of investment opportunities across different sectors, geographies and situations. The expectation is that this candidate has 5+ years of experience in direct lending / private credit.
